Maintenance Fitter – Afternoon Shift Permanent Night Shift Bendigo Region $45–$50 per hour + Shift Loading Afternoon Shift (+15%) Night Shift (+30%) Overtime Available An excellent opportunity exists for experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a leading industrial manufacturing operation in the Bendigo region.
We are currently seeking tradespeople for two permanent shift options : Afternoon Shift Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Friday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM 15% shift loading 38-hour work week Permanent Night Shift Monday to Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM 30% shift loading Overtime opportunities available Working within a large-scale manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of automated production equipment, conveyors, material handling systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rollers, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment critical to ongoing production.

long-term career opportunity Well-established and growing manufacturer Up-to-date manufacturing environment Supportive maintenance and engineering team Strong focus on safety and continuous improvement Key Responsibilities Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing equipment Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimise downtime Service, repair and overhaul plant machinery and production equipment Maintain conveyors, drives, pumps, rollers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams Maintain high safety, quality and housekeeping standards About You To be successful in this position, you will possess: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent Experience within manufacturing, processing, packaging or industrial environments Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and prioritise maintenance requirements Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Desirable Experience CMMS experience (MEX, SAP PM, Maximo, Pronto or similar) Automated production line maintenance Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience Welding and fabrication skills If you're looking for a secure role with excellent earning potential and are interested in either a permanent afternoon shift or permanent night shift , we'd love to hear from you.
