Our clinic in Newtown is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team.
We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.
The role is a 12 month full time contract working 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, between 8:30am – 10:00pm .
With possible weekends down the track.
Role Overview: As a Medical Receptionist , you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include: Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
