Cloud Engineer - Microsoft Azure, Terraform Day Rate Sydney Azure Cloud Engineer | Daily Rate Contract | 12 Months | Sydney (Hybrid) We're recruiting for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join a program of enterprise cloud engineering work with a solid security focus.
This is a build role, not a support desk.
You'll be designing and deploying Azure landing zones from the ground up, with Terraform and DevOps pipelines doing the heavy lifting.
The role Lead design and deployment of Azure landing zones across enterprise-scale environments Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code in Terraform Deliver through Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) for consistent, repeatable deployments Manage Azure services across Networking, Security, Identity,



Compute and Storage Support project delivery and BAU operations as the environment matures Work closely with architecture and security teams to keep solutions aligned to governance standards What you'll bring Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer in enterprise environments Strong Terraform expertise, comfortable scaling and optimising IaC across complex Azure estates Solid understanding of Azure landing zones, subscriptions and governance frameworks Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and ARM templates Technical depth across RBAC, Networking, Security, Storage and Compute Ability to work across both project and operational environments 12 month daily rate contract, Sydney based, hybrid working arrangement.
