This is a full-time apprenticeship where you will be employed and supported by Central Coast Group Training (CCGT) while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction through on-the-job training.
You will meet at Somersby and work as part of a hands-on crew delivering civil construction projects safely, efficiently and professionally.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys outdoor work, being part of a team and learning practical skills in a growing industry.
The apprenticeship term is 36 months.
What You'll Be Doing You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship while learning a range of civil construction skills on the job.
Your duties may include: Operating and maintaining plant and machinery Using hand and power tools safely and effectively Assisting with site preparation, trenching and material handling Loading and unloading tools, equipment and supplies Moving asphalt, soil and construction materials Maintaining clean,



safe and organised worksites Working collaboratively with site supervisors and crew members Following WHS and environmental procedures Troubleshooting onsite issues and supporting project delivery Contributing to a positive and safety-focused team culture This is a hands-on role that involves practical outdoor work and working in a fast-paced team environment.
What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and ready to build their skills in civil construction.
To be considered, you will need: Current White Card Current driver's licence Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliability, motivation and willingness to learn Positive attitude and pride in quality work Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew Some civil construction experience, or a genuine interest in starting a career in the industry Whether you have some experience or are looking to start your career in civil construction, we encourage you to apply if you show initiative and commitment.

Overtime may apply after ordinary hours, with occasional weekend work required.
