Revelations In Hair Design is seeking an experienced and passionate
Senior Hairdresser
to join our dynamic team at our Wellington Point salon. This is a
full time position
offering you the opportunity to lead by example, mentor junior staff, and deliver exceptional hair services to our valued clientele. As a Senior Hairdresser, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence whilst contributing to the creative vision and success of our salon.
Key responsibilities
Provide high-quality hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments to clients
Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences and expectations, offering professional recommendations
Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised workstation and salon environment in accordance with health and safety standards
Mentor and supervise junior hairdressers, providing guidance, training and constructive feedback
Contribute to the development of salon protocols, techniques and best practices
Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business
Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques and products within the industry
Assist with salon administration tasks, including appointment scheduling and stock management as required
Uphold the salon's values and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
A recognised hairdressing qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience
Minimum 5+ years' professional hairdressing experience, with proven expertise in cutting, colouring and styling
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring or training junior staff




Strong client service skills with the ability to build rapport and manage client expectations professionally
Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards within salon environments
Proficiency with a range of hair products, tools and styling techniques
A genuine passion for hair design and staying informed about current industry trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliability, professional attitude and a commitment to excellence
Desirable: experience with salon booking software
