We're partnering with a leading enterprise organisation seeking an experienced Senior Cloud and DevOps Manager to lead the platforms, tooling and automation that enable engineering teams to deliver software quickly, securely and at scale.
This is a strategic leadership role where you'll drive the Cloud and DevOps strategy and tooling across the organisation, leading a team responsible for CI/CD, container platforms (EKS), developer tooling, self-service platforms and secure software delivery practices.
Whilst this is a management position, it is very much still hands on, and as such, requires someone who still loves engineering!
Key responsibilities include: Leading enterprise CI/CD and GitOps strategy Akamai design and strategy Owning container platforms across AWS ECS/EKS Driving developer self-service,



automation and internal platforms Managing GitHub standards, artifact repositories and secrets management Coaching and developing a high-performing engineering team Improving software delivery performance through modern engineering practices To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in DevOps, Platform Engineering and cloud People leadership, and experience within large enterprise environments Akamai Hands-on expertise with CI/CD, GitHub, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS and cloud platforms Experience with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code and secure software delivery Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills This is an outstanding chance to shape engineering practices at scale and make a lasting impact across a complex enterprise technology environment.
