Its head office is located at their Pan Divino restaurant in Surry Hills NSW ****, where the business oversees its operations and culinary direction.
Create Catering - Pan Divino is now looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their head office team.
The right candidate will be responsible for: Liaise with management to identify business objectives, define analytical requirements and determine the data to be collected for operational and strategic decision-making.
Collect, validate, analyse and interpret financial, operational and sales data to identify trends, customer behaviour and opportunities to improve business performance.
Specify data collection methodologies and maintain the accuracy, reliability and integrity of business information through effective data governance and quality assurance processes.
Develop and apply analytical models, forecasting techniques and numerical analysis to support budgeting, financial planning, sales projections and operational performance.
Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards and data visualisations using business intelligence tools to communicate actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Evaluate business initiatives, operational performance and reporting outcomes by applying statistical analysis and identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
Perform data mining, data cleansing and trend analysis to improve reporting accuracy,



extract meaningful insights and support evidence-based business decisions.
Collaborate with finance, operations and marketing teams to optimise reporting methodologies, enhance analytical capabilities and support the consistent use of data-driven business practices.
About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst; Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex business, financial and operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI and other data analysis, modelling and business intelligence tools.
Knowledge of data collection methodologies, data validation, data governance and statistical analysis techniques.
Ability to develop and apply analytical and forecasting models to support budgeting, financial planning and business performance evaluation.
Strong understanding of data mining, data cleansing and reporting processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of business information.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into practical recommendations and process improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analytical information clearly to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Solid organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple analytical initiatives while maintaining data confidentiality and reporting accuracy.
Job type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
