About the Role As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy and thriving hospitality venue.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll lead from the floor, ensuring smooth service, supporting your team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint.
You will play a key role in managing the Front of House team, conducting pre-service briefings, coordinating floor operations, and maintaining the high standards of service the venue is known for.




You'll be responsible for supporting staff training and development, assisting with rostering and operational planning, and ensuring compliance with RSA, food safety, and workplace health and safety requirements.
A significant aspect of the role involves overseeing weddings, private functions, and special events, ensuring seamless execution from setup through to service and pack-down.
You'll also assist with venue administration, cash reconciliations, inventory control, and operational procedures while acting as the Restaurant Manager's second-in-command.
This role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, or senior hospitality qualified ready to take the next step in their career.
You'll have the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills, mentor team members, and contribute to the ongoing success of a respected hospitality operation while positioning yourself for future career progression.
Your Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years' experience within a quality hospitality venue Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar, or premium dining environment Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge with a passion for guest service Current RSA certificate with excellent communication and organisational skills Experience with weddings, private functions,
