Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Import Operations Coordinator to join their Tullamarine office.
The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-5 years experience in international freight forwarding who is looking to broaden their knowledge and take on more responsibility.
Youll work across import operations while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business.
If youre someone who enjoys learning, likes variety and wants to develop your career beyond a traditional operations role, this position offers genuine scope for growth.
Your Responsibilities Coordinating import sea freight shipments (FCL LCL) Liaising with an external Customs Broker to ensure smooth clearance of shipments Arranging transport and final deliveries Communicating with overseas offices, carriers and service providers Providing exceptional service and regular updates to customers Managing shipment documentation and CargoWise records Raising invoices and ensuring accurate job completion Assisting across both sea freight and air freight operations when required As your experience grows,



youll also have the opportunity to become involved in consolidation shipments (LCL/FAK), project logistics and even contribute to the companys marketing and social media initiatives if these are areas that interest you.
About You Were looking for someone who is motivated to build a long-term career within freight forwarding.
Youll ideally have: 3-5 years experience within an Australian freight forwarding environment Previous experience using CargoWise A solid understanding of import operations Strong communication and customer service skills A proactive attitude and willingness to learn The ability to work from the office as part of a collaborative team Most importantly, youre someone who enjoys taking on new challenges and is excited by the opportunity to expand your knowledge across different areas of the business.
