We are seeking a motivated Operations Trainer to join our Kewdale based team.
The Role: You don't need to be an experienced technical trainer to succeed in this position.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, organised and confident working with people, with a genuine interest in helping others learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities include: Deliver classroom-based, practical, virtual and on-the-job training.
Monitor field employee competencies and identify ongoing training needs.
Conduct regular field-based assessments, including VOCs and SWPs.
Work collaboratively with field employees, supervisors and mentors to develop effective training strategies.
Develop and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
Track, evaluate and report on training activities and outcomes.
Manage the learning management system and support training compliance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee training records.
Develop and update operating manuals and training materials for field equipment.
Review and maintain individual and operational training plans.
About You: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment — TAE***** or TAE*****.
Some experience delivering training, coaching or workplace assessments.
An interest in technical or operational environments.
Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude would be advantageous but is not essential.
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Confidence working with employees at different levels of experience.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
A practical, adaptable and willing-to-learn approach.
Flexibility to travel to operational sites throughout Western Australia and occasionally interstate.
