Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their close-knit finance team on a temporary basis to provide leave cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied accounting support role within a collaborative corporate head office setting.
Commencing in mid-August, this assignment will run for approximately 6–8 weeks, with a handover provided before the incumbent commences leave.
The Role: Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include: Processing Accounts Payable invoices through Pronto Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration Processing monthly payroll for approximately ***** corporate employees Assisting with the review of fortnightly site payroll Completing bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end tasks Assisting with BAS and payroll tax workpapers Supporting month-end reporting requirements Providing occasional reception and general administrative support Assisting the wider finance team as required About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:



Previous experience as an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or Finance Officer Strong Accounts Payable and payroll processing experience Experience with month-end reconciliations and bookkeeping duties Experience using MYOB (Pronto experience is advantageous but not essential) Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team What's on Offer: Immediate start 6–8 week temporary assignment Convenient location in Perth's western suburbs Stable Monday to Friday hours (8:30am–5:00pm) with some flexibility around start and finish times Corporate head office environment with a supportive finance team Full-time, office-based position If you are immediately available or becoming available shortly and are looking for your next temporary opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
