Description A 12 month contract role to be based in Melbourne for an established energy infrastructure business.
12 month contract, shift work WFH Melbourne based role Well established and growing energy infrastructure business About the Company They are a leading power company, owning and operating significant, renewable and nonrenewable generation and transmission assets in Australia.
You new role Reporting to the Energy Markets Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day electricity spot trading as part of a team of four energy traders.
Your role will involve developing trading strategies for upcoming shifts and working collaboratively with the team to bid a unique asset in a compliant and effective manner.
This position offers a flexible working environment,



with the option to work from home or the office as required.
Who you are You are an experienced electricity spot trader in the Australian Electricity Market, have sound knowledge of the relevant legislation, understand electricity price forecasting techniques and are able to perform trading and bidding processes in a compliant manner.
