What You Will Be Doing The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all Fixed Plant maintenance activities across site.
This role is ideal for a proactive team player who thrives on fault finding, continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on large-scale fixed plant machinery and equipment, identifying and rectifying defects to ensure optimal functioning, and reviewing maintenance plans and reports to find opportunities for continuous improvement.
The role also involves working with the Planning team to improve plant reliability, identifying business improvements and driving change, small capital project work including commissioning, diagnosing issues using critical and logical thinking, equipment installation and fabrication, and collaborating with stakeholders to assess and adjust work scope as needed.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of maintenance systems, standards, processes, and procedures for standardised work management, while actively demonstrating and promoting a high level of safety awareness and encouraging safe work practices.




What You Will Need Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting Previous experience maintaining Crushers, Screens, Conveyors, Pumps, and general Fixed Plant equipment Heavy Excavation Machinery Experience.
Sound knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and equipment safety legislation Solid communication skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships Valid C Class Manual Drivers Licence Commitment to promoting health, safety, and environmental improvements Desirable Certifications: Confined Space with Gas Testing Working at Heights Dogging and Rigging EWP Licence What's In It For You?
