You will be responsible for the following duties: Assisting with month-end close, journals and financial reporting Managing prepayments,
accruals and fixed assets Maintaining the fixed asset register and associated reconciliations Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting income statement reporting Providing analysis and commentary on monthly financial results Assisting with external audit requirements and statutory reporting Supporting finance systems, process improvement and automation initiatives Contributing to finance transformation projects, including system enhancements and workflow improvements Providing general financial accounting support across the broader finance team You To be successful, you'll be a technically capable Financial Accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and thrives on improving processes.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring the following experience, skills and personal qualities: Minimum 3 years experience as a financial accountant Degree qualified in accounting, commerce or finance and CA or CPA qualification (or be nearing completion) Experience gained within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm, complemented by commercial accounting experience is highly regarded Experience using NetSuite is advantageous Exposure to SaaS, technology or other high-growth businesses Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills How to Apply If you're looking for a contract opportunity where you can add value from day one while expanding your experience within a growing technology business, we'd love to hear from you.
