About You: We need a skilled Mechanical Draftsperson for a 12-month contract role .
You will create accurate installation and fabrication documentation for belt conveyor equipment components and sub-systems.
What You Bring Experience : Strong background as a Draftsperson or Design Drafter in manufacturing,



industrial equipment, or mechanical design.
Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with conveyor systems, material handling, or process equipment.
Software Skills : Proficiency in 3D CAD platforms like SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
Qualifications : Trade qualification, Certificate IV, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting (Mechanical).
Technical Output : Proven ability to produce complete manufacturing packs, including BOMs and detailed assemblies.
About the Role: You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to support manufacturing, assembly, and site work.
Key Responsibilities Documentation : Create timely and accurate installation and fabrication documents that match customer needs and business goals.
CAD Design : Use 3D CAD software like SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD to build 3D models, general arrangements, manufacturing and assembly drawings, exploded views, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Practical Design : Design practical and manufacturable parts that fit fabrication limits.
Collaboration : Work closely with production teams and maintenance crews.
Technical Support : Help guide manufacturing and assembly processes.
Problem Solving : Find and resolve design and manufacturing errors.
Project Support : Help with equipment commissioning, installation, and general engineering tasks.
