Our clinic is seeking a caring, motivated, and experienced Medical Practice Nurse to join our friendly multidisciplinary team.

About the Role As a Medical Practice Nurse, you will work closely with our General Practitioners and administration team to deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients.
Conduct health assessments and chronic disease management.
Assist GPs with procedures and minor surgeries.
Perform wound care, dressings, injections, ECGs, spirometry, and health checks.
Coordinate immunisations in accordance with the National Immunisation Program.
Assist with care plans, health assessments, recalls, and preventative health activities.
Manage cold chain compliance and vaccine storage.
Maintain accurate patient records using Best Practice software.
Perform infection prevention and sterilisation procedures.
Stock management and clinical room preparation.
Assist with pathology collection and specimen handling (where applicable).
Educate patients regarding health promotion and disease prevention.
Participate in accreditation and quality improvement activities.
Work collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals, and reception staff.
Essential Requirements Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN).
Current CPR certificate.




Minimum 1 year of experience in a general practice or primary healthcare setting (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
Working rights in Australia.
Desirable Skills Experience using Best Practice, MedicalDirector, or similar clinical software.
Immunisation Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in chronic disease management.
Women's health experience.
Childhood immunisation experience.
Health assessment experience.
Wound management expertise.
Experience with ECG, spirometry, and ear syringing.
Accreditation and infection control knowledge.
