AYAN InfoTech is looking for Cyber Assurance - Security Architect to join an exciting project based in Sydney.
The role offers you the chance to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: Cyber Assurance - Security Architect Location: Sydney Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions Experience: 7+ Years Key Responsibilities: Risk and Compliance Assessment: Evaluate new and existing security architecture/projects/initiatives against established policies, standards, and relevant regulatory requirements to identify gaps.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure that security architecture, plans, and controls align with industry best practices and organizational standards.
Threat and Vulnerability Analysis: Perform risk analysis on initiatives, identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and document them.
Control Recommendation: Recommend and design security controls to mitigate identified risks and enhance the overall security posture of the architecture.
Security Architecture Design Review: Provide guidance and perform architecture reviews for proposed security and business solutions, hardware, software, and outsourced services.
Documentation: Develop and maintain security documentation, and written reports detailing security findings, remediations recommended/applied etc.
Collaboration:



Work closely with engineering, solution architects, and business partners to integrate security into the development lifecycle and support business objectives.
Staying Current: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security issues, threats, and vulnerabilities, and new technologies.
Approvals/certifications : Negotiate with Business and cyber leadership on the Security Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of designing and evaluating security architectures for complex systems and applications.
Risk Management: Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and analyzing security risks within technical architectures.
Compliance Expertise: Knowledge of relevant security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF) and regulatory requirements.
Security Domains: Experience in various security areas, including network security Cloud security (Must), identity and access management (IAM), application security, cryptography etc.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with system components, infrastructure, secure configuration management, and security technologies.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
