Position Overview: With an established reputation across infrastructure and urban development projects, the business is now delivering an increasing pipeline of resources-focused work and is seeking a technically strong designer to play a key role in this growth phase.
This is an opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects while contributing to the development of design capability, mentoring junior team members, and helping shape future project delivery.
What you will be doing Designing and delivering complex civil projects across mining, resources, urban development, geotechnical and structural interfaces Preparing and reviewing design drawings, models and construction documentation Providing high-level technical support and direction for project design activities Developing preliminary and detailed designs in accordance with project scopes Ensuring designs comply with Australian Standards, Codes and client specifications Coordinating resources, including onshore and offshore design support teams, to meet project schedules and budgets Mentoring and supporting less experienced designers to promote technical excellence Contributing to workshops, training initiatives and business planning activities What we are looking for Minimum 3 + years proven experience as a Civil Designer within, mining,



resources or infrastructure environments Produce civil engineering designs and detailed drawings in12D, supported by AutoCAD.
Strong capability in civil design and drafting for complex engineering projects Experience preparing construction documentation and specifications Solid understanding of Australian design standards and regulatory requirements Ability to coordinate design resources and manage competing project priorities Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery A passion for mentoring and developing junior designers Why join?
