Your Benefits Include: $*****-$***** p/h Guaranteed 40-hour work week on a rotating roster Weekly Pay Ongoing training, development career progression 24/7 support from a dedicated consultant team About the Role: As a Support Worker with Care Group Community Services, you'll provide person-centred support to individuals living with disability, empowering them to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
You'll work closely with participants in their homes and the community, assisting with daily living, community participation, personal care, and implementing individual support plans.
This role involves supporting participants with complex behaviours , so you'll use a calm, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach to build positive relationships, promote safety, and respond confidently to challenging situations.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play a vital role in helping participants live meaningful and fulfilling lives while upholding dignity, choice, and respect.
Your role will include: Provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants with complex behaviours.
Build positive, respectful relationships while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) and individual support plans.
Respond confidently and professionally to challenging behaviours using trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
Support participants to achieve their personal goals and engage in meaningful community activities.
Maintain accurate and timely case notes, incident reports, and documentation.
Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and the wider support team.
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for participants and colleagues.
Encourage the development of life skills, emotional regulation, and social inclusion.
Follow organisational policies, NDIS Practice Standards, and safeguarding requirements at all times.
Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.

Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
The ability to remain calm, patient, and qualified in challenging situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A person-centred and trauma-informed approach to support.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and participant choice.
A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team culture.
