au Position : Cook About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide range of dishes in line with the restaurant's standards and health regulations.
The Cook will play a critical role in maintaining kitchen efficiency and delivering high-quality meals to our customers.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, season, and cook food items including meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, soups, and desserts in accordance with menu specifications.
Plan and estimate food requirements and monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies.
Portion, arrange, and present food in a visually appealing manner.
Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
Operate cooking equipment such as grills,



fryers, ovens, and stoves safely and efficiently.
Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure secure food handling practices.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
Assist in menu planning and updating recipe cards where necessary.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely and consistent food service.
Essential Skills : • Must be experienced in all aspects of the preparation and presentation of general dishes.
Experience : • Certificate IV of Commercial cookery or 2 years of relevant experience Required Qualifications: • Formal qualifications are not necessary but applicants must have relevant experience.
