They are seeking a skilled and experienced Venue Managers to join our team on a full-time basis.
This role is essential to the successful day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring exceptional front-of-house service, effective coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams, and compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will lead and develop the front-of-house team, maintain high operational standards, and deliver an outstanding customer experience that reflects The Bungalow Petersham's commitment to quality, consistency, and exceptional hospitality.
Salary Range : $78,000- $85,000 AUD Location : 340 Stanmore Rd, Petersham NSW ****, Australia Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day front-of-house operations of The Bungalow Petersham, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and seamless dining experience for guests throughout breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and bar service.
Lead, supervise, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, including supervisors, waitstaff, and bar staff, while preparing staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage during peak and off-peak trading periods.
Maintain and continuously promote exceptional customer service standards that reflect The Bungalow Petersham's commitment to quality hospitality, creating memorable guest experiences and encouraging repeat patronage.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, feedback, and escalated complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Coordinate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations, enabling efficient service and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
Monitor daily venue operations to ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, workplace health and safety (WHS), and all relevant hospitality regulations and company policies.
Develop, implement, and review operational procedures to improve service efficiency, staff performance, and the overall customer experience while supporting the venue's commercial objectives.
Oversee front-of-house inventory, including beverages, service equipment, and operational consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and wastage is minimised.
Prepare operational reports for management, including staffing performance, sales trends, customer feedback, and service outcomes, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements Proven experience in hospitality or venue management within a busy restaurant or similar setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop front-of-house teams.
Demonstrated knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and OH S compliance in hospitality.
Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction.
