About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established WA contractor delivering structural, mechanical and civil construction projects across Western Australia.
They are seeking a capable Workshop Leading Hand / Supervisor to lead workshop delivery, coordinate a skilled team of trades, and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You'll be trusted to manage priorities and workflow with a high level of autonomy, working closely with the Operations Manager.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced workshop professional seeking genuine ownership of workshop operations and is based in Fremantle, with occasional travel to Perth metro and regional project sites.
What You'll Be Doing Take ownership of daily workshop operations, workflow and priorities Lead and support carpentry, fabrication and warehouse teams to deliver project outcomes Plan, schedule and coordinate workshop activities, fabrication and mobilisation to align with project delivery requirements Manage workshop materials, stock, consumables and asset registers, ensuring efficient control of resources Oversee servicing and maintenance of plant, vehicles and compliance of lifting, rigging and fire safety equipment via external providers Work closely with the Operations Manager, maintaining IMS records, providing progress updates and driving a safe,
