Evolve Talent are recruiting for experienced Drainers to work for our client on projects in Brendale and across the Sunshine Coast.
The Drainer role is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of underground drainage systems across civil and infrastructure projects.
This role performs hands-on drainage work as its primary function, including setting out, trench preparation, pipe installation and system connection.
Multiple positions are available.
The work is full time with annual remuneration of $80,000 to $105,000 + super (negotiable depending on experience) on offer.
Duties: Install, repair and maintain stormwater, sewer and below ground drainage systems Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications Set out pipe alignment, levels and gradients Prepare trenches and ground conditions for installation Lay, join and align pipes ensuring correct fall and compliance Install pits, junctions and associated drainage infrastructure Connect pipelines to existing systems and live services safely Conduct inspections and quality checks Identify and rectify defects or installation issues Maintain accurate records of work completed where required Skills Experience required:



Relevant trade qualification or equivalent employment experience At least 1 year of recent full time experience as drainer or related work Strong knowledge of drainage methods in civil construction Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications Understanding of trenching, bedding, pipe installation and backfilling requirements Knowledge of stormwater, sewer and underground pipeline systems, including pits and associated structures Familiarity with working around underground services and safe excavation practices How to Apply: Click APPLY or contact Laura Neary on ************ / ****** for a confidential discussion.
