Senior Systems Administrator - Infrastructure Maintenance | Enterprise Environment | Sydney Are you an experienced Systems Administrator who enjoys keeping critical infrastructure secure, stable and running at its best?
We're looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join a large enterprise technology team responsible for maintaining and supporting mission-critical server infrastructure.
This is a hands-on operational role where you'll play a key part in ensuring the ongoing availability, security and performance of enterprise platforms.

What You'll Be Doing Administer and support enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.
Perform regular patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation across infrastructure platforms.
Monitor platform health, performance, availability and capacity.
Respond to incidents, investigate root causes and contribute to problem management activities.
Support infrastructure implementations, upgrades and operational improvement initiatives.
Work across virtualised environments including VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
Maintain Active Directory, DNS, NTP and other core infrastructure services.
Contribute to infrastructure security, compliance and governance initiatives.
Develop and improve operational documentation, standards and support procedures.
Collaborate with infrastructure,



security and application teams to deliver reliable technology services.
What We're Looking For You'll ideally bring: 5+ years' experience in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Support within enterprise environments.
Solid experience administering Windows Server and/or Linux.
Experience supporting VMware vSphere, Hyper-V or similar virtualisation technologies.
Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, NTP and core infrastructure services.
Experience with enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Exposure to backup and recovery platforms.
Good understanding of networking, storage and infrastructure security concepts.
Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience creating technical documentation, operational procedures and support standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple technology teams.
