Job Description Core Talent have partnered with a leading Manufacturing client who are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support and lead electrical engineering activities across our clients manufacturing operations.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong industrial experience who enjoys working closely with production, maintenance, and project teams to improve performance, safety, and reliability.
You will play a key role in the design, upgrade, and optimisation of electrical systems supporting manufacturing equipment, automated processes, and plant infrastructure Responsibilities: Lead electrical engineering design and technical support for manufacturing facilities Design, review, and approve electrical systems including power distribution, motor control centres (MCCs), VSDs, and control panels Support automation and control systems in collaboration with PLC/SCADA engineers Provide technical leadership for upgrades, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital projects Conduct fault-finding, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements on electrical systems Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, statutory requirements, and site safety procedures Liaise with contractors, OEMs,
