Legal Assistant – Personal Injury A well-established personal injury practice is seeking an organised and proactive Legal Assistant to join the team in a full time, permanent capacity.
This role is best suited to someone with prior experience in a similar position.
About the Firm This Melbourne-based plaintiff firm focuses on acting for individuals who have suffered injuries in workplace incidents, road accidents, and public settings.
Key Responsibilities Setting up and finalising client files Ongoing file maintenance and organisation Managing schedules, emails, and telephone enquiries Compiling briefs and preparing court documents Drafting routine correspondence Communicating with clients, insurers, and external parties Conducting database and online searches Assisting with basic legal research Supporting general office operations, including document handling, scanning, filing,



and mail management Skills Experience At least 12 months' experience in a Legal Assistant or similar support role High level of accuracy and strong communication skills Demonstrated experience in personal injury law, ideally across WorkCover, TAC, or public liability matters Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines in a busy environment A positive, can-do attitude with strong initiative Confidence using legal software systems (preferred but not essential) Capable of working autonomously as well as within a team setting Contact To apply online, please apply using the form below.
