About the Role This role provides dedicated support to a team comprising our Managing Director (Callan Lloyd, Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law), an Associate and two junior lawyers.




You will play an important role in helping the team manage busy practices and deliver outstanding service to clients.
Your responsibilities will include: Diary management and coordinating appointments, deadlines and court commitments.
Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal correspondence and court documents.
Managing confidential client files and matter administration.
Opening and closing files, archiving and document management.
Preparing and coordinating electronic and hard-copy briefs for counsel, experts and clients.
Filing and inspecting documents with courts, tribunals and government agencies.
Liaising with clients, barristers, experts and other stakeholders.
Arranging transcriptions, correspondence, interviews and file notes.
Billing and general practice support tasks.
Contributing to the efficient running of a busy legal practice.

Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a law firm.
Strong document preparation and formatting skills.
Excellent typing and administration skills.
Experience using legal practice management software (LEAP experience will be highly regarded).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive (CoPilot experience will again be highly regarded).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team setting.
Experience with billing and general practice administration.
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
