Business Development Manager – Rail, Civil Mining Technology Brisbane Based | $160K Package + Dependent on Experience Our client is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions supporting the rail, civil infrastructure, construction and mining industries across Australia.
With a solid reputation for delivering specialist solutions that improve operational efficiency, safety and productivity, the business partners with major organisations across asset-intensive industries.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and play a key role in expanding market opportunities, developing strategic relationships and driving business growth across Australia.
This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional who understands complex industrial environments and can engage with senior stakeholders across rail, infrastructure, construction and mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute business development strategies across rail, civil, construction and mining markets Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities with major contractors, operators and industry stakeholders Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to negotiation and handover Develop proposals,



presentations and commercial solutions tailored to customer requirements Maintain strong market awareness and identify emerging industry opportunities Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities About You: Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management within rail, mining, civil, construction or related industries Strong understanding of technical B2B sales environments Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders Experience managing complex sales processes and developing new business opportunities Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills Commercial mindset with a track record of achieving growth outcomes Desirable Experience: Existing network across rail, mining, infrastructure or heavy industry sectors Experience selling technology, engineering solutions, equipment or specialist services Exposure to major projects, contractors or asset-intensive industries If you are an experienced Business Development professional looking for your next challenge within rail, infrastructure and mining technology, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
