APS5 Research Officer Location: ACT Duration: 3 months Hourly rate: ***** per hour Our federal government client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Language Research Officer to support the maintenance and enhancement of a languages database.
Key Responsibilities Research and update language records using a range of sources.
Analyse and verify linguistic and cultural information for database inclusion.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with established standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of information.
Desired Skills and Experience Qualification in Linguistics or a qualification in Anthropology or a related discipline with demonstrated relevant experience.
Strong research and analytical skills, demonstrated through academic research projects, thesis work, or equivalent experience.
Excellent written communication and attention to detail.




Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
