Role Leading a team of approximately 15 professionals across Finance, Procurement and Supply chain, you will establish a high-performing commercial function that drives value, governance and improved business performance.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will partner with the V/P Operations, and provide strategic leadership across financial performance, supply chain, procurement, ensuring key decisions maximise value and support long-term operational success.
You will shape this new function by building capability, driving continuous improvement and embedding commercial discipline across the operation and champion the Safety Guarantees.
Commercial Leadership Lead the site's commercial strategy to maximise value, improve productivity and reduce operating costs.
Establish solid commercial governance and support joint venture and partnership requirements.
Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain Drive budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, business improvement and investment evaluation processes.
Lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiations,



supplier performance and supply chain optimisation.
Contracts, Projects and Risk Oversee major contracts to ensure value delivery, performance, compliance and effective risk management.
Manage commercial, financial, contractual and operational risks through strong governance and controls.
Leadership and Capability Build commercial capability across the operation and embed commercial thinking into everyday decision-making.
The Candidate CPA or CA qualification preferred.
Proven leadership experience across commercial, finance, procurement or supply chain functions within mining, resources or a complex industrial environment.
Mining and operational site-based experience highly desirable, with an understanding of production priorities and operational challenges.
