Architectural Sales Representative - Building Materials THE COMPANY Sharp Carter is partnering with a leading supplier of architectural façade solutions servicing the commercial construction industry.
Known for delivering high-quality products and technical expertise, the business works closely with architects, designers, developers and builders to influence project outcomes from concept through to completion.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to drive specification and project activity across NSW.
THE ROLE Influence Projects Before They Go to Tender This is a strategic, relationship-focused role where you'll work with architects and designers to secure product specifications on commercial projects and help convert those opportunities through the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Develop relationships with architects, architectural firms and design practices Identify and secure product specifications on upcoming commercial projects Conduct CPD presentations and technical product presentations Track projects from design through to tender and construction Engage builders, contractors and developers to ensure specifications are maintained Build a pipeline across commercial, education, healthcare, residential and mixed-use developments Manage your territory autonomously with the support of an experienced leadership team Drive specification wins that convert into project sales THE CANDIDATE Ideal Background Proven success in Architectural Sales, Specification Sales, or Project Sales Strong relationships within the architectural and design community Experience presenting to architects,



designers and specifiers Track record of influencing specifications and driving project outcomes Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously Product Backgrounds We Would Like To See Candidates may come from industries such as: Facades Cladding Architectural Aluminium Systems Building Envelope Solutions Roofing Systems Commercial Glazing Louvres Sun Control External Wall Systems Waterproofing Architectural Hardware Structural Building Products Commercial Flooring Ceiling Wall Systems Masonry Construction Products Commercial Building Materials Second-Tier Match We would also be interested in speaking with candidates currently working in: Internal Sales Architectural Support Project Coordination Sales Support Technical Customer Service who regularly interact with architects and designers and are looking to take the next step into an external specification sales role.
