About the role Quest Flemington Central is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Flemington, VIC ****.
This is a full time position that plays a crucial strategic role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and guest satisfaction across our property.
As Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring our guests enjoy impeccably maintained accommodation and facilities.
This role is integral to the success of Quest Flemington Central and directly impacts guest experiences and property reputation.
Key responsibilities Supervise, train and manage the housekeeping team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning and maintenance standards Schedule and allocate housekeeping staff efficiently to meet operational demands and guest requirements Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas and facilities to verify cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement Implement and maintain housekeeping policies and procedures in compliance with health, safety and company standards Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing Respond promptly to guest complaints and maintenance requests related to cleanliness and room conditions Coordinate with other departments including front desk, maintenance and management to address operational issues Monitor and report on key performance metrics,



including cleaning completion times and guest satisfaction scores Identify staff training needs and develop coaching plans to enhance team performance and professional development Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance and incident reports What we're looking for Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry Proven track record of leading and motivating housekeeping teams to achieve high performance standards Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, health and hygiene regulations, and best practices in the hospitality sector Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels and departments Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing operational improvements Competency in using housekeeping management software and basic computer skills Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required What we offer Quest Flemington Central is committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment.
