PAYG or ABN 12 Month Contract Infrastructure Experience As a Design Manager in large to medium Infrastructure Programs, you will oversee the planning and delivery of major water projects, ensuring they are aligned with strategic commitments and delivered within scope, time, and budget.
You will lead multidisciplinary design and engineering teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement to support sustainable development and community outcomes.

Lead and support design, manage technical partners, project manage and push continuous improvement to deliver sustainable community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Lead technical planning, detailed design, and approval workflows for large water/dam projects.
Direct design activities, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and dam-safety standards.
Maintain technical schedules, cost estimates, risk assessments, and quality plans.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement (internal teams, regulators, external partners) on design decisions.
Monitor design progress, improve safety, cost, and schedule outcomes.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing design culture across engineering and delivery.
Drive innovative design solutions, value engineering, and efficiencies.
Ensure design governance and reporting align with regulatory and utility requirements.
About You Hands-on design engineering and project management delivery experience in infrastructure projects.




Degree in Engineering or related field; chartership is a plus.
Solid technical leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
