Senior Registered Nurse (ANUM) – Oncology An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Registered Nurse / Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join a leading oncology service in Melbourne.
This is an opportunity for a passionate and experienced oncology nurse to step into a senior clinical leadership role, supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care while providing guidance and leadership to a dedicated nursing team.
The Role Working within a specialised oncology environment, you will play a key role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and leading the clinical team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will be responsible for: Providing clinical leadership and support to the nursing team Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with the day-to-day operations of the unit Coordinating patient care and ensuring high clinical standards are maintained Mentoring, coaching and developing nursing staff Supporting staff with complex clinical situations and decision-making Promoting a positive and collaborative team culture Contributing to quality improvement, clinical governance and risk management initiatives Supporting the delivery of exceptional care to patients and their families throughout their oncology journey About You To be successful in this role,



you will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in oncology nursing and a genuine passion for clinical leadership.
You will ideally have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Significant experience in oncology nursing Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership position Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to patient-centred care The ability to lead, support and develop a nursing team A positive, professional and team-oriented approach Whether you are an experienced ANUM or an experienced oncology nurse ready to take the next step in your leadership career, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and highly regarded clinical environment.
