Location: Royal Hobart Hospital, Hobart TAS Employment Type : Fixed-term, Full-time Contract: 1 February ******** February **** (with potential extension to 2–3 years) Salary: $134,930 – $189,005 per annum (MP Level 5–11) About the Role The Advanced Trainee will be part of the General and Acute Care Medicine Department at Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest hospital in Tasmania and the state's tertiary referral centre.
This role provides comprehensive exposure to a broad range of acute and general medical presentations across a high-acuity teaching hospital setting.
Key responsibilities include: Day-to-day management of inpatient and outpatient medical care Participation in after-hours and emergency medical cover Contribution to outpatient clinics Active involvement in multidisciplinary team care Participation in teaching and structured training activities Trainees will gain exposure to accredited rotations across major subspecialties, including: Respiratory Medicine Nephrology Neurology / Stroke Cardiology Gastroenterology What's on Offer Structured Advanced Training Program (RACP-accredited environment)
