They are a major employer in the region and have well over 40 years of experience servicing the Australian meat industry.
Job Description Develop, implement, and review WHS policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend control measures to mitigate workplace hazards.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Provide WHS training and support to employees across the engineering and manufacturing teams.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, and company standards.
Foster a safety-first culture and promote employee engagement in WHS initiatives.
Prepare and present WHS performance reports to senior management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in workplace health and safety practices.
The Successful Applicant A successful WHS Manager should have:



Qualifications in workplace health and safety or a related discipline.
Proven experience in a WHS role within the FMCG or similar industry.
Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and industry standards in Australia.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence and guide teams effectively.
Experience conducting risk assessments and leading incident investigations.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
