We are seeking a full time Painting Trades Worker with Rope access licence(IRATA) to join Converge Services on the Gold Coast.
The role involves preparing, repairing and finishing residential and/or commercial surfaces, applying paint and protective coatings, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, safely and efficiently.
Salary: $79,423 - $82,000 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities : · Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, filling cracks, removing old paint and cleaning surfaces.
· Protect surrounding areas by using drop sheets, masking materials and appropriate preparation methods.
· Mix, match and prepare paints, stains, varnishes and other finishes to meet job specifications.
· Apply paint, varnish, stains and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
· Carry out finishing work to ensure surfaces are smooth, consistent and completed to a professional standard.
· Set up and safely use ladders,



scaffolding and other access equipment where required.
· Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups or repairs where necessary.
· Clean and maintain tools, painting equipment and work areas.
· Work in accordance with safety procedures, site requirements and project timelines.
Key Skills and Experience : To be successful in this role, you will need: · Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, Certificate IV, or equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience.
· At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Painting Trades Worker, Painter or in a closely related role.
· Fluent in English.
