This role is responsible for designing and implementing workforce communication and engagement channels that enable effective communication with a large subcontracted workforce.
Working closely with project leaders, operational stakeholders and field delivery teams, you will establish scalable communication frameworks, drive engagement initiatives and support the successful adoption of digital communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement workforce communication and engagement channels for subcontracted field teams.
Assess current engagement practices and identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness.
Develop and deliver workforce communications including email bulletins, project updates and operational announcements.
Collaborate with project managers, schedulers, site managers and operational leaders to ensure timely and accurate communication.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities and participate in project meetings.
Support the rollout and adoption of digital communication platforms, mobile workforce applications and collaboration tools.
Track engagement metrics and provide reporting and insights to stakeholders.
Contribute to project management and change management activities as required.
Establish communication governance, roles and responsibilities to support long-term workforce engagement.
About You You are a confident communications professional who can quickly build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
You are proactive, commercially aware and capable of translating complex operational information into clear, practical messages.
You will also bring: Minimum 3-5 years' experience within telecommunications, infrastructure or a related industry.
Demonstrated experience in workforce engagement, communications or project delivery environments.
Experience developing and implementing communication channels for subcontracted or dispersed workforces.
Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly SharePoint and other collaboration platforms.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with the ability to measure engagement outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity while driving outcomes.
Desirable Experience Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline.
Experience with change management initiatives.
Knowledge of process improvement and communication workflow automation.
Experience using broader Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams and Viva Engage.
Exposure to mobile workforce communication solutions.
