Full time located in Marsden Park, NSW Champion reuse, help shape a future where secondhand becomes second nature The Retail Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day functions of the sales floor, and the customer and donor experience, increasing sales and profits.
This includes upholding company standards throughout all customer and donor areas of the store (inside and outside), remaining aware of customer and donor needs, and monitoring and ensuring fast, accurate and friendly service at the cash registers, on the retail floor, fitting rooms and at point of donation.
The RSM observes, assesses and coaches performance, and set the pace of work.
Your key responsibilities will include; • Delivers store performance against financial targets and key operational metrics.
• Monitors workflow, productivity, and staffing to ensure operational efficiency.
• Uses business insights, market knowledge and performance data to drive results.
• Maintains high standards of merchandising, store presentation and customer/donor experience.
• Leads ClubCard membership growth initiatives.
• Directs, coaches supports supervisors team members to achieve objectives.
• Manages recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, training workforce planning.
• Develops team capability and identifies high-potential employees for growth opportunities.




• Fosters a respectful, values-driven culture through open communication, recognition and feedback.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and oversees store operations when required.
• Delivers exceptional customer and donor service through coaching, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Implements sales, marketing, and promotional programs to drive performance.
• Monitors sales, labour costs and store activity, adjusting resources as needed.
• Ensures efficient cash handling, register operations, accounting, and banking procedures.
• Protects company assets through strong cash controls, security practices, and loss prevention measures.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in sales floor supervision, cashier supervision, customer service management and retail operations.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Proven capability to observe, assess, coach and develop team members to improve performance and customer service outcomes.
Highly organised with the ability to plan, coordinate and manage the work of others while maintaining operational efficiency.
Exercises sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt effectively in a variety of situations.
