The Opportunity Join Cleanaway and play a key role in supporting safer, healthier workplaces across our NSW Oils and Technical Services operations.
As a trusted Health Safety Business Partner, you'll work closely with operational leaders and frontline teams to strengthen risk management, build safety capability and drive continuous improvement across operational sites based in NSW.
Your responsibilities will include Partner with operational leaders to improve safety performance and critical risk management.
Coach and support leaders to implement and verify critical controls.
Facilitate risk assessments, Management of Change (MoC) processes and learning reviews.
Conduct assurance activities to verify control effectiveness and compliance.
Support complex incident investigations and embed organisational learning.
Analyse safety performance trends and provide actionable business insights.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational safety outcomes.
About You You are a proactive and influential safety professional who enjoys partnering with operational teams to solve problems and improve outcomes.
With strong risk management expertise and a collaborative approach, you're confident coaching leaders and supporting high-risk operational environments.
Solid experience in a Health Safety Business Partner, Advisor, Specialist or similar HSE role.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems.
Experience within high-risk industries such as waste, manufacturing, chemicals, construction or infrastructure.
Demonstrated capability in investigations,



risk assessments and assurance activities.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
Ability to coach and develop leadership capability at all levels.
Strong analytical mindset with a practical and solutions-focused approach.
