Our business partner, a proudly Australian-owned leader in supply chain management and logistics for the food industry, is seeking a dependable and experienced Gatehouse Operator to join their high-performing warehouse team in Chullora .
This key role is responsible for managing vehicle and pedestrian access, ensuring site safety, compliance, and the smooth flow of logistics operations.

Position Details Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:06 PM Pay Rate: $***** per hour (plus applicable penalties) Type: Temp-to-perm opportunity Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule vehicle movements to prevent congestion and ensure compliance with site safety standards.
Direct and monitor traffic flow for the safe entry and exit of vehicles and pedestrians.
Record and report driver demurrage times to improve operational efficiency and minimise delays.
Verify and maintain accurate inbound/outbound freight documentation, including Proof of Delivery (POD) and Dangerous Goods (DG) paperwork.
Manage daily cross-dock bookings and collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain on-time arrivals.
About You Strong written communication skills, particularly via email.




Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflows in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Previous experience in transport, logistics, or administrative support roles is highly regarded.
Confident interpersonal skills with a professional approach to challenging situations.
Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Manhattan, is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Ms Excel.
