Foster Plastics Industries Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Plastic Technician to join our production team.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of extrusion machinery and the production of high-quality plastic products.
Key Responsibilities: Setting up extrusion dies and downstream equipment for production runs Starting and monitoring extrusion lines Identifying and resolving issues in the production process Ensuring that products meet quality and specification requirements Supervising and coordinating other production staff Replacing defective, broken,



or worn-out machinery components Determining procedures for equipment setup and operation Creating job cards and start-up procedures Ensuring workplace health and safety protocols are strictly followed Maintaining cleanliness of production areas and raw material storage Demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Skills Experience Required atleast 3 years experience as a plastic technician, or similar role Robust mechanical and technical skills, particularly with extrusion machinery Ability to troubleshoot production and machinery issues efficiently Good communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence Apply Now!
