About Therapy House Therapy House PTY LTD, trading as Therapy House, is a health and support services provider based in The Gap, Queensland.

The Opportunity Therapy House is seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful applicant will provide psychological assessments, counselling and evidence-based therapeutic services to clients with varied psychological, emotional and behavioral needs.
The role will also involve preparing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, maintaining clinical records and collaborating with other health and support professionals.
This position is suitable for a psychologist with strong clinical judgement, effective communication skills and the ability to manage a varied client caseload professionally and independently.
Key Responsibilities Assess clients' psychological, emotional and behavioral needs.
Conduct psychological assessments and identify appropriate treatment requirements.
Develop and deliver individualized treatment and support plans.
Provide individual, family and group counselling and therapy.
Apply suitable evidence-based psychological treatments and therapeutic interventions.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when required.
Prepare clinical notes, assessment reports, treatment reports and referrals.
Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date client records.
Communicate treatment recommendations and progress appropriately with clients andfamilies.
Work collaboratively with families, health practitioners, support providers and otherprofessionals.
Manage a varied client caseload and maintain appropriate appointment schedules.
Provide clinical guidance and support within a multidisciplinary service environment.
Identify clients requiring additional or specialist services and arrange appropriate referrals.
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with professional, ethical and legal standards.
Follow workplace policies, clinical procedures and relevant health and safety requirements.
Participate in professional development, clinical supervision and team meetings whererequired.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience •Relevant qualification in Clinical Psychology and current registration with AHPRA is required•Relevant experience providing psychological assessments,
counselling or therapy.
•Experience developing, implementing and reviewing client treatment plans.
•Experience preparing and maintaining clinical notes, reports and referrals.
•Knowledge of evidence-based psychological treatments and therapeutic approaches.
•Strong psychological assessment, counselling and communication skills.
•Ability to manage a varied client caseload effectively.
•Good report-writing, documentation and record-keeping skills.
•Strong empathy, professionalism and sound clinical judgement.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
•Experience working with clients from different backgrounds is desirable.
•Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and complying with professional and ethical standards.
