Job Description Chance to work on a huge $600m residential project One of the largest residential projects currently in Sydney Blue chip client and a strong reputable builder This builder is synonymous with delivering quality projects via a professional well managed process.
Their clients are predominantly 'end users', owners, institutions, and investors that require a quality project based on long term interest, or end user requirement.
Typically, projects range from $100m – $600m and they have an array of strong blue-chip clients that award them repeat / negotiated work without having to tender in the open market.
WHAT'S ON OFFER Opportunity to work with a first class Tier 2 head contractor and developer who are delivering bespoke large multi-unit residential schemes across Sydney.
Our client is looking for a Senior Design Coordinator to work with a growing project team at the early stages from conception through to completion.
You will work in the pre-construction phase, together with the construction phase managing design and compliance risk, authority approvals along with the completion of the construction documentation.
This is a long-term hire for their business with plenty of training and mentoring on offer for the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES A thorough understanding of the design process Sufficient understanding of each of the consultants' disciplines to lead,



manage and challenge the design team Demonstrated experience in functional briefs, consultant scopes and engagements Solid knowledge in both residential and commercial new build, plus an understanding of the construction process KEY REQUIREMENTS Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or similar Minimum 4 years'+ experience in a Design Coordination role for a reputable Tier 2 residential builder Preferably come from an architectural background to really bring that design value but must have decent experience working for a head contractor Experience within the ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) and tender phase, as well as the construction phase is highly sought after Demonstrated experience in functional briefs, consultant scopes and engagements Experience over various building types in excess of $50M in value If you would like to find out more and are generally interested in furthering your career, than please contact ****** or call David Shapiro on ************.
