As the Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of commercial painting projects.
Working closely with Directors, Project Managers, Site Supervisors and clients, you'll play a key role in securing current work while supporting the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates, take-offs and tender submissions for commercial painting projects.
Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation to determine project scope.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and clients to obtain pricing and clarify project requirements.
Identify project risks and develop practical, cost-effective pricing solutions.
Maintain estimating templates, databases and pricing schedules.




Support project teams by monitoring actual costs against estimates and improving future pricing accuracy.
Contribute to strategic pricing decisions and business development opportunities.
About You Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within commercial painting or the construction industry.
Strong understanding of commercial construction methodology, coatings and painting systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office.
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline are advantageous.
Knowledge of Queensland construction and safety requirements.
