Due to continued business growth, AH Centre are seeking skilled Floor Finishers to undertake flooring installation and finishing works across a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities Read and interpret plans, drawings and work specifications.
Inspect, measure and prepare concrete, timber and other subfloors prior to installation.
Install and finish a range of flooring products including vinyl, hybrid flooring, laminate flooring, engineered timber flooring and other resilient floor coverings.
Prepare floor surfaces by cleaning, levelling and applying moisture barriers, primers or adhesives where required.
Cut, shape and fit flooring materials to ensure accurate alignment and high-quality finishes.
Sand, polish, seal and finish timber flooring where required.
Repair, replace and maintain damaged or worn flooring materials.
Inspect completed flooring works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.




Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain a clean and protected work environment.
Liaise with supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Requirements Relevant qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Flooring Technology, or at least three years of relevant full-time work experience as a Floor Finisher.
Demonstrated experience in the installation and finishing of residential and/or commercial flooring.
Sound knowledge of flooring materials, adhesives, levelling compounds and installation techniques.
Ability to read plans and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Reliable, punctual and physically fit.
