Master Scheduler Contract for 6 months with possible extension | Brisbane | Hybrid Working We are partnering with a Queensland based skilled services organisation to recruit an experienced Project Support Officer/Executive Assistant.
In this role you will provide expert planning and scheduling capability within the Transformation Delivery Office, supporting the establishment and maintenance of a consistent, reliable portfolio view of projects and programs.
The role is responsible for the development, integration and ongoing management of project and program schedules, working directly with delivery teams to ensure schedules meet agreed standards while providing targeted support where required.
What you'll be doing: Develop and manage integrated project and program schedules to ensure accurate, up to date and reliable planning information across the portfolio.
Provide hands on scheduling support to projects and programs where required, including resolving schedule issues, improving schedule integrity and supporting teams to maintain effective schedules.
Leading planning workshops with technical and business stakeholders to support schedule development and identify dependencies, risks and issues.
Support the uplift of scheduling capability by promoting consistent scheduling standards, practices and ways of working across projects and programs working collaboratively with other master schedulers.
Identify, analyse and manage cross project and program dependencies and critical path impacts, ensuring risks, conflicts and constraints are clearly understood and communicated.
Maintain schedule integrity through regular quality checks and active management of forecast changes, ensuring schedules remain realistic, traceable and fit for decision making.
What we're looking for?
Formal training or certification in scheduling, project controls, or project delivery disciplines.
Specialist scheduling certifications such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or AACE PSP are highly viewed.
8+ Years experience in developing, maintaining and analysing project and program schedules within complex delivery environments.
Strong practical expertise in scheduling tools, particularly Microsoft Project, and the ability to use supporting delivery tools such as Jira or Planner to complement and align with Microsoft Project schedules.
Experience leading meetings and workshops with technical and business stakeholders Demonstrated capability in critical path analysis, dependency management, forecasting and assessment of schedule impacts, risks and constraints.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify schedule issues and work with delivery teams to resolve them.
