Position: Panel Beater Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $96,300 plus superannuation per annum Location: Northgate QLD **** Our client is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their team located in Northgate, Queensland.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: ·Inspecting damaged vehicles to determine the extent of the damage and preparing a cost estimate for repairs.
·Removing damaged panels, bumpers, grills, lights, interior trims, and other parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
·Using hammers, dollies, and other tools to straighten and reshape damaged metal or plastic vehicle panels.
·Removing and fitting current panels to replace damaged sections of the vehicle, such as doors, bonnet, boot lids, or fenders.
·Using welding and soldering techniques to repair metal parts, fill holes, and secure panels back onto the vehicle.
·Applying fillers to dents and damaged areas to smooth surfaces before painting.




·Sanding and prepare the repaired area for painting by auto body painters.
·Using specialised tools and chassis repair equipment to realign bent or damaged vehicle frames and chassis.
·Remove refit windows and windshields that are damaged.
·Checking the repaired vehicle for structural soundness, alignment, and proper functioning before returning to vehicle owner.
Required Qualifications: ·At least one of the following: ·An AQF Certificate III, including at least one (1) to Two (2) years of training; or ·At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
·Valid Australian driver's licence.
Required Experience: ·A minimum of one to two years of full-time relevant Panel Beating experience.
