Program/Project Manager Brisbane, QLD | $***** per hour + super | Immediate Start We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to support the delivery of asset renewal and maintenance programs for a major utilities organisation.
This is an excellent prospect for a project professional with experience in infrastructure, capital works, maintenance, or asset management to contribute to projects that support critical water and wastewater infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning through to completion, ensuring safe delivery, strong governance, and successful outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
The Role You will be responsible for managing asset renewal and maintenance projects, coordinating resources, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key responsibilities include: Managing asset renewal and maintenance projects from initiation through to completion Developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies Monitoring project progress, costs, risks, issues, and performance against agreed objectives Coordinating internal teams, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders Ensuring projects meet safety, quality, compliance, and governance requirements Preparing project reporting, updates,



and documentation for stakeholders Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and effective project delivery practices About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, maintenance, capital works, or asset management projects Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills Experience managing project risks, reporting, governance, and delivery outcomes Ability to coordinate multiple teams, contractors, and competing priorities Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders Background in utilities, water infrastructure, construction, engineering, or asset management will be highly regarded What's on Offer $70–$75 per hour + super Hybrid arrangement (2-3 days in the office) Fortitude Valley, QLD 9-month contract opportunity Full-time hours Opportunity to work on essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects Work with a well-established organisation delivering critical community services Please apply today if you are an experienced Project Manager looking for an opportunity to deliver meaningful infrastructure projects.
