Finance Officer 12-Month Contract Hybrid Working - 2 days in the office $***** per hour + Super Immediate Start Higher Education Sector We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a large and complex organisation on an initial 12-month contract.
This role will see you providing financial accounting and transactional support across a diverse stakeholder group, ensuring the delivery of high-quality finance services while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and a strong customer-focused culture.
the role is hubrid, with 2 days on site.
Key Responsibilities Provide financial and transactional support across multiple business units Process and manage a range of finance-related transactions Resolve finance and accounting queries in a timely manner Prepare reconciliations, financial reports and record adjustments as required Maintain accurate financial records,



documentation and registers Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery Support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives Work across various finance systems and reporting platforms About You Experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Assistant Accountant or similar role Strong understanding of financial administration and transactional finance processes Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and reconciliations Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or similar Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities A customer-focused approach and ability to work within a high-volume environment What's on Offer?
